Overview

S&D Lipopharma is a consulting, contract research and custom synthesis company intended to serve the chemists, biologists, immunologists and other interdisciplinary communities. With state of art facilities and upmost professionalism and expertise, S&D Lipopharma provides extensive consulting services in design, synthesis and characterization of functionalized carbohydrates, oligosaccharides of biological importance, glycolipids and phospholipids of immunological interests, carbohydrate-based vaccines, and other diverse glycoconjugates. In customer service, S&D Lipopharma is offering a portfolio of diverse carbohydrate-based chemicals, and active in customer synthesis and contract manufacture of oligosaccharides and oligosaccharides with functional moieties (linker, spacer, biotin, fluorophores, azido or alkynyl groups, etc.), glycosyl amino acids, glycopeptides, glycoconjugates, glycolipids and phospholipids in formulated form, and a variety of carbohydrate building blocks (for more information see our products and services offerings).

S&D is also highly active in carbohydrate-based drug developments. Currently, our research is focused on the vaccines and the vaccine adjuvants discovery. With collaboration with more than 2 dozens of collaborators around the world, we are able to search, screen a number of natural and synthetic glycolipids and test their adjuvant profiles. So far, a few of candidates have proven to be potent lead compounds. Meanwhile, we are developing a Qβ particle supported platform for efficient synthesis of diverse antigenic glycan conjugates as vaccines targeting viable diseases caused by bacteria or viruses (for more information see our recent publications in the news).
